Challenge: Terrain lacked consistent information and documentation around who their target personas are and ICP is. They also wanted to update their messaging on their website but lacked the foundation needed for that, I.e. who are we speaking to, what do we need to say to stand out, etc.
What we did:
Interviewed around 10 of their existing customers within their ICP to better understand their goals, challenges, how we solve their problems, insight into their buyers’ journey, etc.
Leveraged this to document their positioning & messaging
Terrain Analytics struggled with outdated messaging due to unclear target personas and ideal customer profiles (ICP).
Therefore, I interviewed about 10 existing customers to deepen our understanding of their needs and buying journey. This insight guided us to define clear market positioning and core differentiators. Armed with this foundation, I collaborated with an agency to revitalize their website messaging, ensuring it resonated powerfully with their intended audience.
